Born in Uzbekistan, Alyana commenced her piano studies in the State Capital, Tashkent, at the Uspensky Music School with Charita Satanovskaya and with Elmira Mirkosimova at the State College of Music “Mukhtar Ashrafi”. She completed her studies in 2008 at the “Hanns Eisler” Music Conservatory in Berlin, receiving her Diploma under the tutelage of Prof. Klaus Bäßler. In 2009, she was enrolled in a post-graduate chamber music program at HfM Liszt in Weimar, which she graduated a year later. The versatile young pianist is a prizewinner of the State Piano Competition Uzbekistan and was awarded the Chamber Music Prize at the International Queen Sophie Charlotte Competition in Mirow.
Since 2008 she is a scholarship holder of the “Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now” Foundation. Following her acclaimed debut in 2004 with the Orchestra of the Junge Philharmonie Köln, concertising in 28 cities in Spain, Alyana Pirola’s performances include appearances as a chamber music partner at the Concertgebouw Hall (Amsterdam) and at the “Kunst10daagse Festival” in Holland. She is a member of our trio since 2009.
